R Weinland has declared that the tribulation began last December. This simply has not happened.
Not because I said so, but because God's Word says so. We are warned; not to let anyone decieve us in these matters,
the end WILL NOT COME until the Final False Prophet is revealed 2 Thess 2:3-4 and Mat 24:15-21. And the tribulation
will not come until a condition of Peace and Safety (security) is declared 1 Thess 5:3. The tribulation will begin with
the occupation of Jerusalem and will last for precisely 1,260 days Rev 11:2 and the beast will have power to make war for
42 months (1,260 days) Rev 13:5.

Feast of Pentecost; to the 1,290 and the 1,335 days of Daniel 12; and the resurrection and establishment of the Kingdom; may

I had thought last year that there was a very real possibility that 2008 could be the
year for the start of these things, because a count forward from 30 Sep 08 for 1,290 days landed on the sixth day of Unleavened
Bread and another forty-five days ended
on Pentecost in 2012.
On the
PENTECOST and the SPRING FESTIVAL pages I had stated that Pentecost represented a NEW BEGINNING, because it came on the fiftieth day,
or the first day after a complete seven weeks (49 days). I wonder why, I did not see from my own statements that
Pentecost must truly represent a NEW BEGINNING. I now realize that for Pentecost to represent a NEW BEGINNING the full 1,335
days must END on the day BEFORE Pentecost, so that Pentecost could be the start of something new and not just a part of the
1,335 days.
In fact in 2009, counting forward from 19 Oct 1,290 days lands us on the sixth day of Unleavened
Bread 1 May 2013. Counting on another forty-five days brings us to 15 Jun, completing the count on the day BEFORE Pentecost
and making Pentecost a true NEW BEGINNING. The next year that there will be 45 days between the sixth day
of ULB and the day
before Pentecost does not come again until 2020. This means that the count
must begin in 2009 or it cannot begin for seven more years thereafter.
The soonest year where there will
be 45 days between the sixth day of ULB and the Day BEFORE Pentecost will be in 2013 and the next year after that will be
seven years later in 2020.
Where does this leave us then? It leaves us a full one year closer than we were
before 2008. At present absolutely nothing has changed. War could still break out at any time in the Middle East.
Peace and safety still needs to be declared. The Final False Prophet still needs to be set up. He still needs
to build a New Order in Europe.
All these things STILL need to happen, BEFORE the tribulation. At present
TheShiningLight has thousands of regular visitors. We have laid a good foundation. We are now well known
throughout the Church of God. Practically everyone in the COG with a computer knows about us. R Weinland and friends
still say the tribulation began last Dec. The LCG and the UCG still say that Islamic Extremists will coalesce
to form the King of the South. Gerald Flurry still declares Iran to be the King of the South.

When these things happen, people will know that they have been told the truth; they have been warned. They must then
decide what to do.

TITLE AND DATES have been changed to reflect the next possibility, with a comment on the Holy Place added. No other
part of the page has been altered.
The Spring Festivals page shows that the Kingdom of
God will be established with the pouring out of God's Spirit on ALL FLESH on a Feast of Pentecost in the near future Joel
2:28, Acts 2:16-17. Dan 12:11-13 tells us that Daniel will stand in his lot at the end of 1335 days; after the abomination,
that final False Prophet is set up 2 Thess 2. The nearest Feast of Pentecost that would allow for this period of 1335
days to be fulfilled falls on Jun 16th, 2013. Counting back from the day BEFORE Pentecost, Jun 15 2013 reveals
the Final False Prophet being empowered on 19 Oct 2009. If my count is accurate!
The date for Pentecost 2013 will depend on whether 2012 is an intercalary year, but is most likely to be 16 Jun 2013. The
sixth day of Unleavened Bread in 2013 will likely be 1 May, forty five days later would fall on 15 Jun completing the total
of 1335 days and bringing us to the end of the days Dan 12:11-13, on the day BEFORE Pentecost; with a new beginning
on the Feast of Pentecost on 16 Jun 2013.
Counting back to the present we would find the Abomination,
that Final False Prophet; being set up on 19 Oct 2009. Remember that wars are NOT the sign of the beginning
of the end time. There have always been wars Mat 24:6-7. The sign beginning the end days is the setting up of
the Abomination, the empowering of that final False Prophet; which will begin the final 1335 day countdown to the Kingdom
of God!!!

The Middle East Peace Conference is set for 26 Nov 07. At this meeting,
representatives from the various sides will give speeches outlining their positions for the start of negotiations, which are
expected to conclude during 08. Prime Minister Olmert of Israel does not have the political backing in his government
to take the necessary steps to reach any kind of agreement. His coalition will collapse and his government will fall
if he makes any concessions. Meanwhile, President Abbas is not speaking for Hamas, and Hizballah is not represented.
There is no possibility for a genuine comprehensive peace agreement, even if Syria were to be involved, until there is another
test of strength in the area. Therefore, a new conflict will most likely break out in the region. The conference
and subsequent talks will still serve a useful purpose, in that they will clearly define all the problems and that they will
provide at least some solutions.
Israel is desperate to re establish it's military dominance and deterrent
power in the region. Syria wants the Golan back. Hamas wants to be the government of all Palestine. Hizballah wants
control of Lebanon. Iran wants to lead the Muslim world. The US wants to control the energy resources to guarantee
their future in the world. This is a recipe for war. God's word tells us that Peace and Safety will appear
to have been achieved by Judah at the end time Dan 8:25 and 1 Thes 5:3. The only way that this condition
can be achieved is by an overwhelming blitz against Hamas, Hizballah and Iran.
This would re establish Israel's
deterrence and US dominance and place the Palestinian Authority back in control of all Palestine. The militias in Iraq
and Palestine would be deprived of their chief sources of support and be mortally wounded at the same time. The US and Israel
will be placed in a position of strength to dictate a peace.
Such a conflict, when it begins, might take several
weeks and it might take weeks or even a few months for the internal military and political disturbances within the affected
countries to settle down. At that time, serious peace efforts can be foreseen.
In Europe, the present
European Union Treaty must be ratified by all member countries in 2008 (on 16 Oct 08 this deadline has been extended to the
end of 2009). In light of the expected conflict in the Middle East, this is unlikely to happen, as the member states
will be divided by support or opposition for Israel and the US and heavily influenced by strong public peace protests.
There will also be a desperate need for Peace Keeping Forces to enforce any agreement and sharp divisions are likely to arise
over this issue. It is quite possible that some pro US governments might be replaced.
It therefore seems
reasonable that some kind of peace agreement might be reached by the Fall, while a crises in the EU will develop. Those
who have read the articles on the
SPRING FESTIVALS and the DAILY SACRIFICE know that the bearing of the sins of the Judeo Anglo American peoples will end and the abomination
will be revealed 1290 days before the sixth Day of Unleavened Bread. While the timing of this Festival is determined
by the observance of the New Moon, the sixth day of this Festival is expected on 1 May 2013. Counting back from then,
1290 days, means that; the final false prophet we are awaiting, should be revealed around 19 Oct 2009. Counting
on from 1 May 2013, forty-five more days we land on 15 Jun 2013, the day BEFORE the Feast of Pentecost which comes on
16 Jun 2013. Daniel is told; BLESSED is he who waits and COMES TO the 1335 days Dan 12:12, thus indicating
a NEW BEGINNING on the day AFTER the completion of the 1335 days and the establishment of the Kingdom of God over
the whole earth with the pouring out of God's Holy Spirit upon all flesh Joel 2:28.
We therefore expect
a religious leader in Europe, to be empowered around 19 Oct 2009 and to call for a new order in Europe. We would
expect that he will do this in the name of PEACE, to provide peacekeepers to enforce the new peace agreement and to maintain
world peace by providing a counterbalance to America and the Asiatic powers of Russia and China. This religious leader will
become known as a man of peace, a real prince of peace. This new Roman Empire will be made up of ten independent nations with
their foreign and military affairs controlled by a single leader. By whatever title he is called, he will be an emperor.
This religious leader will go to and stand upon, the place that he ought not (the Holy place) Mat 24:15-23,
within seventy-five days of the day that he was set up and a conflict will be triggered between Israel and the European forces
resulting in the occupation of Jerusalem and the defeat of Israel and the Anglo American nations by this new Roman Empire.
The reference by Christ to the Holy Place in Mat 24:15 is not necessarily a reference to a Temple or Tabernacle, for the whole
Mount is Holy, although presently in a state of pollution. See Psalms 99:9, 43:3, Isa 27:13, Zec 8:3, Isa 56:7.
The Final False Prophet will go to the Holy Mount triggering the Great Tribulation. This does not necessarily mean that
a new Temple must be built, for the whole Mount is Holy. It is at this time that the King of the South will provoke the King
of the North. Contrary to the speculation of some, the King of the South is not Iran or some kind of Islamic Extremist
Entity. The Holy Bible clearly reveals who this Southern Kingdom is. To see an explanation of this subject and

Those who have read the 2300 DAY and the EZEKIEL 4 articles should be aware of the significance
of these times and the closeness of these events.
SUMMATION
I would expect a conflict to occur, with
Israel and the US defeating Iran, Hizballah and Hamas and possibly Syria. This will eventually result in a Middle East
peace treaty. There will be political confusion in Europe which will be resolved by a religious leader in the Fall.
This Peace will be extremely short lived. Because of the overspreading of our abominations, our sins will no longer be tolerated
by Almighty God and He will turn the whole world against the Jewish and Anglo American peoples.
