The 25th of June is an anniversary that is little remembered, except by the
fantasies of movie and books and by the true victims; the LAKOTA SIOUX.
In 1868 the Sioux Nation signed the
Fort Larami Treaty with the United States Government. This Treaty guaranteed the possession of the Black Hills region by the
Sioux in perpetuity. Gen George Crook's defeat at Rosebud Creek had resulted in personal animosity toward the Sioux.
Gen Crook was then given the assignment of keeping interlopers out of the Black Hills.
In 1874, Col George
Armstrong Custer led a force of 1,200 soldiers into the Black Hills where they discovered gold. It wasn't long before
Gen Crook was allowing prospectors in and even providing military escorts for them. Thus the Treaty came to an end,
due to it's violation and scrapping by the United States.
The Sioux, Cheyenne and Arapaho held a mass
meeting to determine what to do. At this point Custer stumbled on the camp guided by Crow Scouts. Seeing the camp
and possibly underestimating it's size and realizing that there were no men nearby; he immediately charged into the camp
and began slaughtering the unprotected women and children. The Warriors in consultations nearby, heard the shooting
and screams and came running. Custer and his men were driven out and the enraged Warriors chased them and finally caught
up with them and killed them all. This is the true story of Custer's Last Stand. It bears little resemblance
to the propaganda movies and books later put out to glorify this event. June 25, 1876, is remembered clearly and quite
differently by the Sioux, as a defensive engagement from a Troop, led by an Incompetent and Bloodthirsty Col Custer.
In 1890 a unit of the Seventh Cavalry exacted revenge by murdering 300 men, women and children at Wounded Knee on
Dec 29, 1890. This event too, was largely whitewashed, by the media.
ONE: It is the victors who
write the histories and they are not always faithful to the facts.
TWO: People will believe what they want to believe
and everyone wants to believe the very best about themselves and their group or nation.
THREE: Almost no one, REALLY
KNOWS all the facts reasons and motivation on all sides.
FOUR: It will not be until after the coming of Jesus Christ
that the records will be set straight and all things will be revealed.
FIVE: Given the right circumstances
and motivations, all unconverted men can become bestial; regardless of what nation they represent. IT is the natural
inclination of many people of ALL races.
SIX: When led by a ruthless leader, his followers become ruthless; people
tend to be followers, they tend to be comfortable believing what they are told.
Always follow Jesus Christ
and the Holy Scriptures, be very careful what you believe. The tendency to believe Government and Teachers is very strong.
Don't let them become your God.
Perhaps the greatest problem in the KINGDOM OF GOD, will be the difficulty
in forgiving others. For Armenians to forgive Turks; for Jews to forgive Germans and for all those wronged and bloodied
through the ages to forgive.

SITE
NEWS
After the hostilities of Dec-Jan ended in a ceasefire, the numbers of unique visitors began to fall off.
They had peaked in Jan and began to decline with a First Quarter monthly average of 7,000 uniques per month. Continuing a
slow decline they have now stabilized at 5,150 in May after 5,050 in April. At this time the site's worldwide rankings
as determined by Alexa are now climbing sharply.
I expect, that as the world situation progresses; many persons who had casually visited once or twice in the past will begin
to return for a much closer look.
Up until now we have been in a building phase. First; in building
the site and second, in our advertising campaign of last summer, we sowed the seeds of interest. Soon, God willing;
He will provide the increase. I expect a steady growth over the summer with a large increase in interest during the
Feast. IF this is the time and the Abomination is set up in early Oct it will be right before the Feast and will serve
to spike interest in us even more.
IF this pope is not to be the final one, he may pass on as early as Sept.
If that happens then many people, especially Roman Catholics will be driven to our THE NEXT POPE page as they speculate themselves.
With that possibility in mind I will have to rewrite and update that page so that it will be a serious witness to any such
visitors. I will not change the premise that Cardinal Bertone is a prime candidate until someone more obvious comes
along.
NEWS
In the last week Israel has killed a senior Hamas personality and President Abbas
has launched an offensive against Hamas, killing several. Debka reports that Hamas has ordered it's Commanders to
launch attacks at their discretion. They will no longer stay in their homes waiting to be killed. It is my feeling
that it would be difficult for them to do much during the Israeli Exercise. It will probably take a combination of opportunity
and perhaps another provocation. This has the appearance of
Obama/Netanyahu/Abbas deliberately trying to
goad Hamas into making an attack that could be regarded as sufficient provocation for a massive response.
Hagai
Hadas has been made the Shalit Envoy for Israel. He is to be the front man for a committee headed by the Prime Minister
and including senior persons from the coalition parties and a Kadima representative. Since the Extreme Right Wing parties
reject any kind of compromise and want to overthrow Hamas in Gaza; and since they have the power to bring down the government;
it is very unlikely that any agreement will be reached. At some point, probably sooner rather than later, patience will
run out and violence will result. The possibility exists that Israel will make an offer that looks good to the public,
but which contains elements that Hamas cannot possibly accept. If Hamas walks away and violence begins, then Hamas can be
blamed for the breakdown. That is how excuses for war are arranged.
This may still take a few weeks
to play out, nevertheless tensions are rapidly building up to an explosive level.
Pakistan has completed the taking
of the Swat valley and is now in the mopping up process. Militants are responding with terror bombings is cities, being
unable to defeat the Pakistani Army in the field. The Pakistani Army is now preparing to attack the heart of the Taliban/al
Qaeda/Militant territory in Waziristan during the summer. This comes as the US and NATO are rapidly building up their
forces in Afghanistan. A CLASSIC battle is being planned. These militants will be completely destroyed by a concerted
attack from all sides with no opportunity to escape. Then the scattered forces left outside Waziristan may be mopped
up. Long time readers will know that I have been talking of this for nearly a year now. First; Israel and her
enemies; including the high probability of regime change in Iran; and then mopping up the remaining militants in Afghanistan/Pakistan.
YES: There WILL BE VICTORY OVER EXTREMISM and there will be very good reasons for the world to believe that PEACE AND SAFETY
have finally arrived 1 Thess 5:3.

NEWS ALERT
The
Israeli Exercise has begun. After returning from Washington, President Abbas launched a crackdown on Hamas and killed three
including a senior Hamas Commander. Debka reports that Hamas has decided to respond rather than wait to be destroyed.
DEBKA reports that Hamas has ordered a full scale uprising in response to ABBAS crackdown. IF this is just propaganda,
it is certainly designed to up the tensions. If true, such an uprising would very likely spread quickly to Gaza and beyond
since Israel would intervene to prevent Hamas taking over the West Bank. The fact that this has begun right after a
visit to Washington and at the start of the Israeli exercise is revealing. We shall see whether this explodes or sputters.

THE JOY OF PENTECOST!
In the past the Worldwide Church of God taught
and today many of her daughters still teach; that the seven day Feast of Tabernacles represents a ONE thousand year Sabbath
for man. This is taught even though Holy Scripture states in 2 Peter 3:8, that one day is as one thousand years.
We are told by these people that somehow, the Spring Harvest is actually harvested in the Autumn. We are taught that
for one thousand years we shall rule with AUTHORITY, dominating others. We are told that no man will ever go to heaven.
Brethren; you may REJOICE on this Feast of Pentecost KNOWING that none of these things are true!
The Early
Spring Harvest is; REAPED IN THE SPRING! YES, the resurrection, the reaping of the Spring Harvest takes place in the
SPRING! YES, our Bridegroom Jesus Christ; will come for His Bride and escort her to His Father's House in Heaven,
Rev 19 and especially verses 1 and 7-8 and Rev 15.
Yes, there will be a great joyous Wedding Feast when the
marriage of the Lamb is come. Yes, the Father will be there to rejoice with His Son and His Bride. What could
be more natural then for a Father to rejoice at His Son's wedding? At this Wedding the future duties and responsibilities
will be handed out to the Firstfruits; and the Kingdom of God, WILL BE ORGANIZED. Isn't this an important and necessary
part of the establishment of any government?
During this time, the seven last plagues will be poured out,
Rev 15 and the enemies will be defeated. Then; THE KING OF KINGS will come with His Kings and Priests Jude 14, to establish
the Kingdom of God over ALL the earth. Ths Kingdom will be established on this Feast of Pentecost as a humbled and repentant
humanity enters into a Covenant of Espousal to join with and potentially become a part of the Bride. The Holy Spirit
will be poured out on ALL FLESH, Joel 2:28.

Yes, The KING OF KINGS and His Kings and Priests; will have Power
and Authority. NO, they are not going to exercise this power for their own advantage, nor will they rule with rigor
or dominating power, Mat 20:25-28. Rather, the Priesthood of Melchisedec Heb 5:8-10 shall come to save mankind, to deliver
them from sin, to SERVE, to LOVE, to FORGIVE and to TEACH MANKIND. The saints shall come to show man a better
way.

will be exercised in service and love, to fulfill the responsibility of bringing mankind into the Family of God.
Our friends and mates and children and unconverted parents; will come to US repenting in tears and asking us to show them

the way; because they now know that God is with us. THANK GOD!!! WHAT A JOY!!! NO MORE MURDER, NO MORE HATE,
NO MORE WAR, NO MORE STEALING. JUST: THE PEACE, HARMONY AND LOVE OF GOD.
The truth about the Spring
Holy Days is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. They are true; Days of GREAT JOY!
YES, the Bride will assist her
Husband in bringing in the rest of the Harvest of Firstfruits, during a Sabbath of rest from sin, a millennium of peace with
Christ our Creator. This will add to and bring increase to the Family of God and will serve as good training for the
coming Great Harvest of the Autumn.
This understanding of the Holy Days and the Prophets is truly
UNIQUE to TheShiningLight. As is our DEDICATION to our Father and His Word and our rejection of the traditions of men.

PENTECOST
As the sun sets ending
this SEVENTH SABBATH after the Wave Offering: the FEAST OF PENTECOST, also called the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Harvest,
the Feast of the Covenants and the Feast of Firstfruits will begin.
Be thankful and rejoice on this truly
special day. Rejoice that the Kingdom of God will be established on this day, as the Theocracy of Israel was established
on this day! Rejoice that the New Covenant will be expanded to include "all Flesh", even as the new Covenant
officially began on this day! Acts 2 Rejoice that God's Holy Spirit will be poured out on "all flesh"
on this day, as it was poured out upon a few in the first century! Joel 2:28, Acts 2 Rejoice that all evil is
put down! Rejoice that the Most Holy is anointed King over all the earth! Rejoice that a thousand years; of true
peace, safety, prosperity, harmony and rest from the burden of sin has begun! Rejoice that the LORD GOD OMNIPOTENT REIGNETH,
WITH HIS SAINTS!!! Rev 19:6, Rev 20:6

DIVORCE: IT'S CAUSES
& GOD'S LAW
We know that God said that He hates "putting away" which is divorce Mal 2:16.
Why then did He permit divorce in the law, given to Moses? Deu 24:1 It was because of the hardness of their hearts.
Mat 19:8. What does "hardness of their hearts" mean? Something which is soft is; pliable, responsive,
yielding; hardness is the opposite, it is set in it's ways, implacable, unyielding. A hard heart is an unconverted
heart, not subject to the law of God and not filled with the love of God. A soft heart, a fleshy heart; is likened to
a converted, responsive heart, submissive to the law of God and filled with the love of God Ezek 11: 19-20. Even in
our culture; we speak of a kind and gentle person as being soft hearted; while we call an implacable, unresponsive, uncaring
person; hard hearted.
Hard heartedness is sin! It is being sinful. A hard hearted person is UNFORGIVING;
and NOT FILLED WITH THE LOVE OF GOD. This is the cause of divorce. Hard heartedness on one side or the other,
or on both sides. God allowed divorce because of the hard hearted, unforgiving, unloving, sinful nature of people.
rather than forcing people to live in a hateful miserable condition, He allowed divorce as the lessor of two evils.
Brethren, we are supposed to be converted. we are supposed to be soft hearted and filled with the love of God. Divorce
should not exist among the truly converted. Yet I have seen divorced women sitting in church service with their NEW
husbands, while a few rows away sits her real husband with his new wife. This is APPALLING and is in direct defiance
of Jesus Christ. In Mat 5:32, He says that any person who marries a divorced woman is living in adultery. He repeats
this in Mat 19:9 In the so called Church of God today are many couples openly living in adultery; and this is allowed without
a second thought. This is a SHAME and a DISGRACE; and an OFFENSE TO JESUS CHRIST, for it is done in DEFIANCE of Him.
You DARE to call this EVIL; a GOOD thing, leaning to your own understanding and despising the Word of God. For this
you SHALL GO INTO CAPTIVITY. God has so much comtempt for such behaviour, that He despises your Feasts and Sabbaths
and your attempts to appear Godly. Yes, the SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE is very important to God. Marriage is an analogy
of His relationship with His people. Read Mal chapter two and repent quickly.
If the unconverted depart, let
them depart 1 Cor 7:15. In such cases you are not bound. Anyone who refuses to fulfill his/her responsibilities,
under God's law to their spouse and departs; let them depart, for they are unconverted. Because they are unconverted
and betraying their vows, spoken before Almighty God; CAST THEM OUT OF THE ASSEMBLY; Why should the clean be joined
with the unclean? What does light and darkness have in common? If they sin and are obviously living contrary
to the COMMAND OF JESUS CHRIST; CAST THEM OUT OF THE CONGREGATION. And if the unbelieving depart, then let the believer find
a mate among the BELIEVERS.
Anyone who refuses to keep the commandments of God regarding ANYTHING, including
marriage is an unbeliever. If the unbeliever depart, let them depart. If BOTH spouses are implacable and unforgiving
and hateful; despising the other, they are BOTH unbelievers. BOTH are unconverted and BOTH should be rejected. For a
woman to sit with a NEW husband while her ex sits with a New wife, in a Congregation claiming to be the Saints of God; is
UNBELIEVABLE. IT IS AN ASTONISHING DISGRACE; This evil should not be seen among us.
What was done
BEFORE baptism, has been forgiven and washed away by repentance and the blood of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Those
things should be forgotten and never remembered or mentioned again. What one does after baptism is a measure of one's
conversion. If someone defies the commandment of Jesus Christ, if they are so hard hearted as to be unable to forgive
their spouse whom they vowed to love; they are indicating a singular LACK OF CONVERSION.
What causes divorce?
I remember an American Country Song of the 1960's which went: PRIDE IS THE CHIEF CAUSE OF THE DECLINE IN THE NUMBERS
OF HUSBANDS AND WIVES. This is very true. What really is hard heartedness? It is PRIDE. It is being
too proud to admit you are wrong. It is being too PROUD to forgive and overlook faults. It is about carrying grudges,
nursing hurts, making negative assumptions, being uncooperative, being more concerned about oneself than about the spouse,
always wanting one's own way and refusing to consider the needs and the wants of the other. Hard heartedness is
about the SELF. It is selfishness. It is about my wants, my needs, my rights; and a lack of concern for the other
person. This is the EXACT OPPOSITE of Godliness.
Brethren, this is a very serious problem. A problem
that Almighty God takes very seriously. If this is the kind of spouse you are now: Jesus Christ DOES NOT WANT YOU in
His Bride. It is as simple as that. It is long past time to repent, if we are guilty of such things.

SITE NEWS
My schedule usually allows me to review
the news and do the news page in the early morning. Usually before 8 AM, Pacific Time. At this time, some news and analysis
may be put up in this column. After this I will add other material as time allows. Sometimes later in the day,
after my work; and sometimes sooner, depending on my day job schedule. The Sabbath schedule may vary a little.
NEWS
Yesterday Israeli forces surrounded a house and began to attack it with bulldozers. They then killed
the man who bolted from the building. He was a long wanted Hamas personality. Israel claims that he was killed
"resisting arrest". Hamas believes that this was a deliberate assassination, due to the fact that the man
and his house had been under surveillance for a lengthy period by the Abbas government. Hamas has vowed revenge and
has authorized it's Military Structure to launch attacks at a time of their choosing. To do so during Israel's
national mobilization next week would be extremely difficult and may have to be delayed.
Rumors in Israel say that
the Netanyahu government will back away from progress in the Shalit talks achieved by PM Olmert and demand to start from the
beginning, all over again. This is to placate the Right Wing coalition partners who do not want to give as much as Olmert
had offered. Since the Olmert offer was rejected, one can expect a lesser offer to also be rejected.
President
Abbas is now refusing to even begin any Peace Talks until Israel freezes all settlement activity. If Netanyahu agrees;
his government will collapse. The religious parties in the coalition have already declared that they will not tolerate
such a situation.
The political stage is just about set. Netanyahu must have his war quickly now, before internal
strife tears his government apart. Then the gov will either fall or be reconfigured.
The price of oil is
now rising sharply and is nearing $70 per barrel.

THE GOOD HUSBAND
The Scriptures liken Jesus Christ to an ideal husband and they liken His Bride, the Firstfruits to
an ideal wife. Since we desire to be among His firstfruits, His bride; and to have an eternal relationship with Jesus
Christ; we should examine His example to see what kind of a husband He is. By learning from His example we can all become
better husbands ourselves.
Jesus Christ truly loved His espoused Bride; He even truly loved those who were
not yet called and espoused to Him. He gave His life, voluntarily to deliver us from the consequences of sin.
He died for us. Just as importantly, He LIVED His life in service to His Bride. He dedicated every moment to her
benefit; for this was the Father's will. He set an example, He taught, He healed, He served in Humility, He FORGAVE
and He delivered His creation from the final death that sin brings. He gave Hope to the hopeless.
Jesus
Christ entered into a marriage covenant with Israel at Sinai. His wife continually rebelled and turned away, yet He
forgave her, time after time. He sent His prophets to reason with her and warn her; and she killed them. Even
then, He would have gladly accepted her if only she would return unto Him. To this very day, neither Israel nor Judah
have turned to Him. Rather they have followed their own ways, making the laws of God of no effect through their TRADITIONS
and rebellions, until the lands of Judah and Israel are overrun with abominations. Yet, he gave His very life for them;
even though they showed through their rebellions how much they despised Him.
Jesus Christ has had the experience
of a BAD MARRIAGE, He knows what it is like to have a rebellious, disobedient and unfaithful wife. He KNOWS the PAIN,
He understands the SORROW. HE NEVER WANTS TO EXPERIENCE THIS AGAIN. He wants a GOOD wife, a faithfull, cooperative,
loyal, loving wife.
WE ARE BEING TESTED NOW BRETHREN. The kind of people we are NOW is a demonstration
to Christ, revealing to Him; the kind of wife we will be to Him. It's time to WAKE UP! To stop relying on the traditions
of our group, like our forefathers did. It's time to show our espoused husband how very much we love Him and how
dedicated we are to Him. "Narrow is the way, and few there be that find it." Mat 7:12-15.
For "many are called but few are chosen" Mat 22:14
We know that Christ gave up His Power and Authority
in heaven to come down to this earth to serve humanity as a simple physical man. How many church big shots would do
such a thing. His physical father, Joseph; was taken when Jesus was a young man; and as a young man He doubtless was
burdened with supporting His family of several brothers and sisters as well as His mother. Some would have you believe
that He was physically well off during His life. The scripture indicates a young man supporting a family after the untimely
loss of His father. And holding a job of difficult and hard labours. Yes, He had a hard life of service and suffering;
and of being persecuted and betrayed. Yet, He had enough love to endure; and to give Himself for His creation.
THINK about the kind of person He was and the kind of love He Had. Do we have this kind of love within
us? Are we truly allowing this person, Jesus Christ to live within us and fill us with the love of God? If we
do, how could such a person even consider beating or even striking his wife? How could we neglect their needs?
How could we live selfishly, thinking of our own pleasures and not putting the needs of our families first?
A good husband will spend TIME with his wife. He will communicate with her. He will provide for her needs, to
the best of his ability. He will be tender, and kind and considerate. He will LISTEN to her. He will cherish her above
all else. He will give himself totally for her good and the good of his family. Still, he will be firm in doing
what is right, yet in so doing; he will take the time to explain and discuss and to communicate, so as to gain the understanding
and support of his wife as much as possible. In so doing he will EARN the TRUST and COOPERATION of his wife. He
will EARN her RESPECT and ADMIRATION and a good wife will willingly follow such a good husband.
I have been
speaking of the ideal relationship that we should have with Jesus Christ and that we should have with each other. Obviously
there are good and bad husbands and wives in this world. The only real solution is for each person to look at THEMSELVES
and resolve to do their very best with God's help, REGARDLESS of what anyone else does. When we stand before God,
He will not accept the excuse that you were returning evil for evil toward your spouse. For He commanded us to return
GOOD for Evil; Rom 12;17, 1 Thes 5:15, 1 Pet 3:9. WE SHALL BE FORGIVEN ONLY; AS WE FORGIVE OTHERS LUK 6: 36-37.

A trip to the dentist, plus my day job have resulted
in the need for a brief rest. I shall put up the next part of the marriage series (Jesus Christ, our example as an ideal
husband) soon.
PM Netanyahu has cancelled his scheduled foreign visits for next week to concentrate on the
Shalit issue, the Budget and the Exercise. Meanwhile his government is shaking due to complete rejection of the American
demands to stop settlement activity and to Obama's ideas on a framework for Peace talks, by the Right Wing coalition partners.
As mentioned on this site in the past, it is highly likely that; the President asked Netanyahu to form this coalition, for
the express purpose of fighting the war. Then the Right Wing coalition will collapse, allowing the President to
ask Livni to form a government suitable for the Peace Talks.
South Korea has provoked the North by agreeing
to join a US initiative to inspect ships bound for the North. In response the North has torn up the 1953 treaty ending
hostilities and is threatening to fight. This may be an attempt to turn the US Aircraft Carriers headed for Iran around
in the Pacific. It is more likely that this is a reaction to the extreme pressure that the regime is under.
The nuclear test was probably an attempt to extort more aid, and when that failed and resulted in the opposite, ie the South
accepting some of the US position, it was disastrous. N Korea is full of bluster trying to stave off the inevitable,
but they are engaged in an exercise in futility. We may yet see the resolution of the Korea conflict, as more and more
pressure comes to bear on the regime

YNet's
report that the Israeli Drill was to begin today was a mistake. Instead of Tuesday, it should have read next Tuesday.
The Home Front Command drill will begin on Sunday at the regular weekly Cabinet meeting and will then proceed for five days.
All three Missile Defense Systems will have exercises together with the United States. The military will practice a
war beginning in Gaza and spreading to Lebanon and Syria, while the Home Front will drill for civil defense and population
protection. This link provides an outline of the drill from the Israeli press.

The Exercise anticipates a quickly escalating level of violence in Gaza resulting in an Israeli invasion.
During two months of Gaza fighting, Hamas is overthrown and the fighting spreads to Lebanon/Syria. The entire scenario
is expected to last three months. Long time readers will know that this massive practice is precisely the scenario that
I have been warning of, for nearly two years now. With the additional factor of the US moving to defend Israel against Iranian
missile fire and changing the Iranian regime.
Obviously, Israel must prepare for a worst case scenario. In
my own opinion the war will probably last from four to eight weeks, with at least another month for things to settle down.
This fits within the Israeli time frame. Then serious and fruitful Peace Talks will take place.

is expected to accept responsibility for the Shalit case and talks are likely to resume after this excercise. They are
unlikely to last long before breaking down and the violence resumes, then the practiced scenario may begin. This great
war to resolve Israeli security issues, once and for all; is likely to begin very soon now.
As these things
take place: Fear Not; "look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luk 21:28
MARRIAGE
Jesus Christ used a human marriage as an example of the kind of relationbship He wants with His saints. He calls them
His bride. So, what kind of relationship should we have with Him?
We should be faithful to Him and not
look to others as the ultimate authority in our lives. It will be to Jesus Christ that we have committed ourselves and
to His Father, being adopted by the Father through our marriage to His Son. The Father will become our Father IN LAW
(by the law). Jesus as His Son, must OBEY His Father; and we, as the bride of Christ must obey our Husband, Jesus Christ.
Therefor as Christ obeys His Father, we also obey His Father; through our obedience to Christ. For His Father, has become
our Father through marriage.
In view of this, wives are to submit to and obey their husbands, (always
putting God FIRST) in the Lord; as says the law. Yet a servant who does only what is required, is an unprofitable servant.
A good servant, a good wife; goes above and beyond and seeks to make her husband successful and happy. She does all
she can to assist him and please him, in every way she can.
Why? because she loves him. She cares
more for his welfare than for her own. And because she knows that his prosperity is her prosperity. If he is successful,
she reaps many benefits. If he is happy with her, he will go out of his way to make her happy also.
So we
as the espoused bride, should obey and go beyond that and try our very best to PLEASE our betrothed husband Jesus Christ.
For if we please Him He will be motivated to please us and provide us with good things. This is the lesson of Proverbs 31.
Some get too focused on the details here and think that a wife should sew or do each of the mentioned things. Stand
back a little and look at the big picture. This scripture is showing a wife who is working for the benefit of her family
any way she can; and in every way she can. Not everyone is a seamstress or skilled in real estate, yet every wife has
something to contribute to her family. Do as you are able. Even so, all the saints should do as they are able,
right now; for our husband Jesus Christ.
We marry for a few years until death. The bride of Christ will
be married to Him forever. He wants a real commitment, He does not want us thinking of divorcing Him in a few thousand
years. We must demonstrate that commitment, now; in our physical marriages. When we marry we VOW BEFORE GOD certain
things. According to the Law of God: a wife is committing herself to love, respect and obey her husband until death;
a husband is committing himself to love, care for, nourish and protect his wife. Each one committing themselves: Totally
to the good of the other. When we go through tough times, it would help to remember that we have not uttered any vow
to our spouse. We have made a vow, BEFORE GOD. Our commitment was not to our spouse; we were making a commitment
to Almighty God that we would do these things. For the duties of husband and wife are defined in the Word of God; and
when we take a spouse, we are committed to these duties by the LAW OF GOD.
Being faithful can be very
difficult these days. When people watch their tv's hour after hour; seeing infidelity after infidelity and
divorce after divorce. When society treats marriage as some kind of joke. When porn and illicit sex are readily
available; there will be consequences. The state of marriage will be taken lightly and the overwhelming temptations
cannot be easily resisted.
Brethren, the way to overcome these temptations is to OBEY THE BIBLICAL
COMMAND TO: FLEE TEMPTATION. Don't watch and become absorbed in these shows. Avoid compromising and tempting
situations as you see them arise. If tempted; REJECT IT IMMEDIATELY, don't DWELL ON IT or ENTERTAIN SUCH NOTIONS.
And if one's spouse slips, don't follow that example. Resolve to do what is right REGARDLESS of anyone else's
behaviour. Remember, your fitness to be a part of the bride of Christ will be determined by the Law of God and HOW YOU
BEHAVE, not by the behaviour of another.
Those who resist these temptations have another dangerous and insidious
temptation to deal with. This is where many fall. Marriage Councilors call it: Emotional Adultery. This is setting
one's affections or heart on someone other than your spouse. How many love their friends, or mothers, or brothers,
or sisters, or another more than their spouse? The affections of husbands should be focused SOLELY on their wives; and
the affections of wives should be focused SOLELY on their husbands; and spiritually speaking, our affections should be focused
SOLELY on our espoused Husband and His Father. Our espousal or marriage is a commitment to our spouse and to what is
His; to the exclusion of all else. Yes ,love others; just love your spouse MORE. NEVER let anyone or anything
take the place of your spouse in your affections. Never: let any man, or church, or teaching, or tradition, or personal
desire; come between you and God. Mat 10:37 applies to our physical spouse as well as our spiritual husband.

have been putting off questions on the Holy Spirit, by several people; I felt that putting up this audio a few days early
was needful. The first few minutes are a little rough and I apologize for that.
MARRIAGE
THIS
IS THE INTRODUCTION TO A SERIES ON MARRIAGE AND FAMILY.
Because the Spring or Early Holy Days are all about; the
Harvest of Firstfruits and the Marriage of the Lamb and Firstfruits; I would like to devote some time to the subject of marriage
and relationships.
In the beginning; God made mankind. Male and Female, created He them; and He said
that this was GOOD. He made man first and then made the woman to be a suitable HELP for the man.
How many people have any relationship closer than with their spouses and families? God made men and women and bound
them together through their internal NEEDS. He created both men and women with built in needs that can only be fulfilled by
the other. He did this for a purpose. He did this to create a classroom to TEACH the man and the woman, through the
relationship called Marriage. Marriage is a classroom to teach us about the subject of LOVE. I am not talking about
lust or physical sex. That can be done with anyone. God made it unlawful to perform sex with any person other
than one's lifelong mate. Why? To protect the classroom called marriage. He provided the incentive to remain
together long enough for us to learn about love.
What is love? It is a genuine caring and concern for
others. We are not born with it. we do not really have it in its fullness when we marry. It develops over
time. Through shared experience we learn to trust one another and care for one another, even more than we care for ourselves.
Love thy neighbour as thyself is the Golden Rule. To achieve this level of true love for others, it takes much time
and hard word and experience. I thought I knew that God loved me. And then I had a son. I loved that child so
very much that; I would have given absolutely anything for his good. It was then that I realized how VERY much God loves
us. Marriage and family were created to teach us about God and what He is really like. This is why marriage is
constantly under attack; and why, at the end of the age, there are so extremely many marital problems.
Lennon
and McCartney wrote and sang "ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE". They were right. Mankind knows that love is needed,
they just don't realize that GOD IS LOVE. That God is the ultimate source of TRUE, GENUINE, UNSELFISH LOVE.
That it is the Commandments of God that SHOW THE WAY TO LOVE. Once the blindfold (HOODWINK) of satan's deceptions
are removed and the way is revealed through the LIGHT OF GOD's SPIRIT, mankind will FIND THE WAY to the Peace and Happiness
that all men crave.
Marriage is a union of one man and one woman. Human needs are not just physical,
they also have emotional, mental, developmental and spiritual needs. Only a woman can fulfill all the needs of a man.
She was specifically created for that purpose. Only a man can fulfill all the needs of a woman. He was created
with that purpose in mind. No other type of relationship can accomplish the purposes for which Almighty God created
the institution of marriage.

I
spent the Sabbath engaged in researching and rewriting the 70 WEEKS PROPHECY page. This article now covers the entire
prophecy; from the commandment to build Jerusalem, to the coming of Messiah and His Sacrifice on Passover, up until the latter
days. The crucifixion can be dated and placed on Passover, Wednesday, 31 AD. On that year Passover fell
on a Wednesday according to the Biblical Calendar; which begins the months with the first light of the New Moon.

The modern Jewish calendar
of Hillel published in the fourth century, also places the Passover on Wednesday in 31 AD. This calendar, in use by
many daughters of the Worldwide Church of God, starts it's months by conjunctions, when there is no moon light whatsoever.
Both calendars falling on the same date for Passover in 31 AD, is due to the fact that the Passover date is affected
by the postponements of the Rabbinic Calendar.
The Rabbinic calendar actually starts in the fall, at the Feast
of Trumpets, Passover is then determined by counting backward a certain number of days (162). This is of course absolutely
contrary to the instructions of God to Moses Ex 12:1-6. If the Feast of Trumpets falls on a day that is inconvienient
for them, they just postpone it for a day. Because of the count back system, this means that the Passover will also be postponed
or delayed for a day. Because the Rabbinic Calendar starts with a conjunction and not with the first light of a New
Moon, it is nearly always WRONG. Sometimes when a postponement is applied, the extra day of delay causes this Rabbinic
Calendar to fall on the correct dates for Holy Times, quite by accident.
I am referring to the Rabbinic
Calendar, observed by most Jews and COG Groups today. There are some Jews and COG's who do not use this Rabbinic
Calendar. For those who do; I can only ask; why do you reject the Word of God for such confusion? Why do
you use your traditions to make the Word of God of no effect? Mat 15:3

Today the government of Israel ordered the start of the Home Front Command
Drill to begin on Tuesday 26 May.

Israeli's are to go into shelters in the exercise climax. Although the possibility exists, this does NOT necessarily mean
that a conflict will break out at that time.
Der Spiegel has printed an article claiming that the Hiriri tribunal
now has evidence that Hezbollah was behind the Hiriri murder. The timing of this publication; just before the 7 Jun
Lebanese elections and at a period of heightened regional tension, makes the obvious impression of an attempt to influence
events.

Israel is expected to finalize it's Security
Policy Plans and to appoint a Shalit Negotiator during the next two weeks. After which talks are expected to resume.
It now appears that Hezbollah will win enough seats in the Jun 7th Lebanon elections to form a new government. The Israeli
government states that they will never give up the Golan, so Syria wonders if there is any point to holding talks. President
Ahmadinejad is expected to win re election in Iran on 12 Jun. President Obama will reach out to the Islamic World on
Jun 4th from Cairo. He is likely to present suggestions that will be more acceptable to the Sunni Block than the Shia.
We shall see how these nations and groups react to this gesture.
It seems that President Obama is trying to
use the Iran threat as a means to bring together the Sunni Block (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the Gulf states) and Israel
for the common good and then propel the Peace Effort forward. If the Iran/Syria/Hezbollah/Hamas Block were to be crushed,
the obstacles to peace would be removed and the grateful Sunni would realize the benefits of peace and security.
Israel and the US should be militarily ready for a conflict by June. Political events now seem to be coming together
as well.
In Europe the Czech President has declared the EU's Lisbon Treaty dead for the moment. The President
who is a Treaty opponent will not sign the ratification papers, until after the Irish ratify the Treaty and maybe not even
then. German elections are coming in Sep. Germany has not yet ratified the Lisbon Treaty. A German court challenge is
expected to be resolved in Jun. The President of Poland refuses to ratify the Treaty until after the Irish Referendum,
scheduled tentatively for Oct. A lot of things may happen between now and Oct. It appears that the Lisbon Treaty
will be made or broken in Oct.
The Bilderberg Group is meeting in Greece this weekend. These Luminaries
will discuss the world economy and the Mid East situation. These people have an enormous influence and even control
over world events; when they can agree on anything.

The
Presidential Press Secretary announced today that the Obama speech on 4 Jun from Cairo will cover the relationship between
the US and the Islamic World. The speech will cover only the broadest general principles for a Middle East Peace Process.
Violence is increasing in the Gaza region, as the Shalit family and supporters come to the conclusion that the
Netanyahu government has had two months to settle in, and must now deal with the Gilad Shalit issue. Demonstrations
were held today and pressure will be applied to the government for action. This region is incredibly complex and events are
very hard to call, yet it does seem that the Shalit issue could very well trigger the next war. The Netanyahu government
is not likely to be nearly as flexible as Olmert was. Should the Shalit talks come to nothing, it is entirely possible
that a rescue effort will be made. It is even conceivable that an Israeli ultimatum, in the form of a demand to accept
a final offer could create a showdown.
I would expect that once the grand National Defense exercise is completed
in Israel and they feel confident in their strength; Israel will seek a Shalit deal. This negotiation is not likely
to drag on since most of the facets of the issue have already been covered by the Olmert negotiations. It does seem
that both sides are adamant in their positions. The only issue will be whether Netanyahu will give more than Olmert
was able too. Since the Netanyahu government depends on a hard core right wing coalition, it is very unlikely that Netanyahu
could accommodate Hamas demands, even if he wanted to.
In my personal opinion and strictly as a matter of
pure speculation; the Shalit issue, combined with continued violence and arms smuggling to Gaza, will be key to what happens
next. If Israel does go into Gaza again, Netanyahu will not stop until Hamas is overthrown. Hezbollah will not
tolerate that and the conflict will spread.
The extreme violence of this war will arouse equally extreme feelings
throughout the world's public, that a peace is essential. The masses will demand that a peace be achieved. If the
Israeli public are subjected to a serious missile bombardment, throughout the nation; they too will finally begin calling
for a comprehensive and permanent solution to their security concerns. Many Israeli's will even be ready to
make concessions for a guarenteed peace. Worldwide pressure for a solution before the region drags the whole world down,
will be overwhelming. Especially, if the war spreads to include Iran. The Obama consultations on a Peace Plan with world
leaders and the Papal trip, have brought the need for peace into the minds of the world's people. A new war will
demonstrate the absolute need for a comprehensive solution.
THAT WILL BE THE OPPORTUNE TIME TO PUT FORWARD
A PEACE PLAN AND HOLD COMPREHENSIVE PEACE TALKS!
