TheShiningLight  is a Ministry of God the Father and Jesus Christ, to and for; the Broader  Church of God, the SCATTERED SAINTS!  The true Church of God consists of all those who have responded to the Father's call John 6:44, in true repentance and HAVE been given God's Holy Spirit; which is only given to those who OBEY Him and DO HIS WILL Acts 5:32  We are not a Church; we are a MINISTRY to the Church!  The True Church consists of the people, the CALLED OUT ONES.  They are GOD'S PEOPLE,  they belong to Almighty God.  We do not consider these people as; OUR PEOPLE or OUR MEMBERS.  We will:  NOT MAKE MERCHANDISE OF GOD'S PEOPLE.  We consider God's people as OUR BROTHERS AND FELLOW MEMBERS OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF ALMIGHTY GOD!
 
Over time, words change in usage and meaning.  Today the word Church tends to convey the meaning of an organized corporate body, or the building where such a registered corporate organization meets.  The original Greek word was ":ekklesia"  (Strong's 1577)  meaning; the called out.   There are many organized corporate groups calling themselves the Church of God, around today.  Some of them more Godly than some others.  None of them, exclusively represent all of God's; CALLED OUT ONES.  It is ALMIGHTY GOD who is Sovereign.  He calls whomever HE chooses, wherever and whenever HE chooses.   I am convinced that He has faithful children, across this world who have never even heard of these many groups.  I am also sure that there are many of His "called out ones" within these Church of God institutions. There are also many tares amongst the wheat; many hangers on and many flatterers and unbelievers within these groups.
                                                                                                                                                                          TheShiningLight  is intended to SERVE;  ALL GOD's PEOPLE.  Wherever they are and in whatever group they might find themselves.  It is our purpose to provide a WAKE UP CALL for all our Father's children.  To turn them away from the idolatry of holding mere mortal men; living or dead, or the organizations of men: as their final moral authority.  WHO IS YOUR GOD?  Your God is the one you ultimately  OBEY and LOOK TO AS YOUR MORAL AUTHORITY.  When you have a question do you think: what would the organized Church say, or what would the Pope say, or what would  D Pack, or G Flurry, or Rod Meredith, or Herbert Armstrong, or Joe Tkatch say?  OR do you ask; what does JESUS CHRIST say?   Do you PROVE ALL THINGS by the HOLY SCRIPTURES? Rev 2:2 and  1 Thes 5:21  Men may be a great help, but they are NOT GOD. Their words should always be tested against the solid standard of God's Word.  NEVERTHELESS; there is much merit in gathering together with like minded saints to encourage and teach one another and to rejoice together, as the scripture says, Heb 10:25.  For both Sabbath and Holy Days are Holy Convocations.  as the Law says Lev 23:2.
 
It is our purpose to turn ALL MEN toward Almighty God, to SMASH ALL IDOLS, to fearlessly proclaim God's Word.  To obey His command to; CRY ALOUD,  SPARE NOT, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people (my called out ones) their transgression and the House of Jacob (the Spiritual House of Jacob (Spiritual Israel)) their sins.  IS 58:1.  We go first to the HOUSE of GOD and then onward to the Whole World.  It is long past time for a REVIVAL in the Household of God.  It  is time to WAKE UP, to open our eyes and to wipe away the sleepiness of complacency and self-satisfaction; to fill our lamps with the HOLY OIL.  AWAKE, ARISE;  and look to your God!  BEHOLD:  THE BRIDEGROOM COMETH, and we are far from ready!
                                                                                                                                                                                                       We call upon ALL GOD'S PEOPLE to heed the words of the prophet Zeph, and:  "Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Eternal come upon you, before the Day of the Eternal's Anger come upon you.  SEEK YE THE ETERNAL, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought His judgement; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Eternal's anger."   Zeph 2:1-3.
                                                                                                                                                                                                          It is our mission to proclaim that the Eternal is God indeed and that there is no other besides Him Psalm 100.  To turn men AWAY from the idolatry of allowing men and their teachings to come between us and Almighty God.  To remind His people that there is NO MEDIATOR BETWEEN MEN AND GOD, except Jesus Christ 1 Ti 2:5. To impress upon all men that the standard by which we shall be judged is the WORD OF GOD and NOT the teachings of men and what some man thinks or teaches ABOUT the WORD OF GOD.  Let God's Word be the standard by which the words of all men are judged Rev 2:1, 1 Thes 5:21.
                                                                                                                                                                                                        We deeply believe in following the example of Jesus Christ and in doing what He commanded; which was to DO THE FATHER'S WILL. JOH 15:10
                                                                                                                                                                                                      We keep ALL the Biblical commandments, seeking with all our hearts and strength and will; to do the Father's will.  We observe the Seventh Day Sabbath, made Holy at creation for all men. Gen 2:1-3.  This Sabbath falls on every seventh day and runs from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday.  We keep all the Holy Days including acknowledging the New Moons, observing the Passover and the Festivals of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, The Feasts of Trumpets and Tabernacles and the Fast of Atonement.  We observe dietary laws and all the commandments that God gave through Moses and Jesus Christ.
                                                                                                                                                                                                     The Sacrificial System was intended to be a graphic lesson in the consequences of sin (death) and to reveal the necessity for an ultimate sacrifice for sin.  The two categories of sacrifices, with the seven types of sacrifice and the various animals involved were all typifying a part of the ultimate sacrifice of our Creator, Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ fulfilled the Sacrificial Law and now as our HIGH PRIEST and INTERCESSOR Heb 7:25, enters the presence of the Father to apply that sacrifice each time that we repent of our sin (lawbreaking 1 Joh 3:4) Heb 9:24-28, 1 Ti 2:5 and Heb 5. His sacrifice being a complete and perfect sacrifice for all sin, He needed to die only once.  We being imperfect and sometimes falling to sin, must needs repent and have that sacrifice applied to us often.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

We abhor dishonesty and fraud.  Therefore, we reject those utterly pagan festivals, re-named Christian and commonly observed, such as: Sunday worship (worship on the Venerable Day of the Invincible Sun, foisted off on Sylvester Bishop of Rome by the Sun Worshipper Constantine), Christmas (Baalmas), Easter (a counterfeit Passover anciently called Astarte's day), Valentine's Day (an obvious fertility ritual) and All Saint's Eve (Halloween, Samhain. this is direct satan worship, acting out the need to pay homage to satan).
