The Epistle ofJude

JUDE

1Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: While Malachi was writing about the conditions prior to the first coming of Christ and through the principle of Duality also had a strong reference to the conditions before the second coming; Jude was directly addressed to the “Called” of the New Covenant

2
Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

3
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Jude tells us that we must earnestly contend [VIGOROUSLY FIGHT] for our faith and salvation in this latter day. Our faith and salvation are under very strong and subtle attack. We need to remember Satan’s subtlety in the garden, where sin was made so desirable in appearance and the logic to partake seemed so reasonable; that Eve was tempted to obey Satan [have faith in Satan] instead of obeying and having faith [trusting] in God.

Our faith in God is under attack, through the temptation to take the easy way; through the temptation to sit back and let others work out our salvation; through the temptation to just sit back and depend on the institution, or the leader instead of personal diligent effort. We are being tempted to follow someone or some organization instead of being diligently faithful to our God. “Just do what the elder says and you have it made.”  Personal responsibility has been replaced with relying on men instead of on God and our personal relationship with him.

4
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

It was ordained in the beginning that God would allow wicked men to enter into the congregations: to TEST his people. Ungodly wicked men who would pervert the grace of God into a license to continue in sin. Who would say “God is love” and he will forgive us if we fudge on Sabbath or in any commandment; for he understands and loves us.

Yes, God is love; therefore he will not excuse continued sin. Yes, he is love and he will rejoice at every sinner who truly repents and CHANGES his ways, becoming a zealous DOER of the commandments. God loves the sinner and that is precisely why he will NOT tolerate sin; because sin destroys the sinner whom God loves.

The Eternal is sifting his people! Christ wants to know who he can trust to obey him and his Father, zealously; regardless of the temptation to do otherwise. He is watching us and selecting those who HE wants to be a part of a faithful, loving, cooperative, supportive and yes, Obedient Wife; for himself.

The Father and the Son want to know: can they trust you? Will you love and cherish them beyond all else, and above anyone and anything else?

The Pearl of Great Price is well worth fighting [contending] for, sacrificing for and suffering for!

As Daniel’s friends said: Our God can save us; if he chooses not to [physically]; we shall gladly die serving him and NO other!

5
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

We have forgotten God’s power and his Mighty Strength and make excuses for our sin; instead of relying on that Great Power. It is easier to make excuses than it is to have FAITH in the “Mighty One Who Inhabits Eternity”. We have been focusing on our troubles and on the men and organizations that we adore and have lost sight of our Great God!

We have been zealous for corporations, popes and men; and have not been focusing on the Eternal, we have obeyed the corporate leaders as if they were speaking with God’s mouth; and have lost sight of God. We have allowed men and corporations to come between us and the Father of the Universe and so have lost our faith in him.

These men have used the word “God” to get brethren to focus on themselves, to aggrandize and enrich themselves; and they have not focused the brethren on the Eternal; Therefore we have lost our faith in him and our faith is in another.

We buy food and drink on Sabbath because some man said it was all right. Is a man God; that we should obey him and not the scriptures? Will this man judge us and not Almighty God out of God’s Books?

Acts 4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

6
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

7
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh [homosexuality], are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

8Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

These deceitful workers lead you into compromising with God’s word and all manner of sin; beginning with the IDOLATRY of exalting themselves; who despise the dominion [authority, commandments] of the Father and speak evil of those who are diligent in serving HIM.

9
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

10
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

11
Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

They would destroy the righteous, zealous for God’s commandments; as Cain did. They would lust after reward, seeking personal gain in wealth and power; as did Balaam. They would rebel against the Mediator of the Covenant as Core did; seeking to exalt themselves as the Mediator in place of Christ [or Moses]; seeking to come between the people and God.

12
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

13
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

These deceivers appear as one of you, while they attempt to subvert you. They eat with you and observe Feasts with you, fearlessly fellowshipping with us; for we see them as leaders among us.

This is the Word of God; this was prophesied for this latter day.

Satan has brought in wicked men that appear as angels of light; with their “love love” tolerate sin approach, they seduce the weak into a perverted view of Christ saying “he will surely overlook and forgive us, as God’s commandments are impossible for us to obey” so we need not be over righteous or zealous for God’s commandments.

14
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

16
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.

People have become respecters of persons rather than respecters of God, seeking personal advantage; full of pride in themselves, or their group, or leader; rather than a devotion to the Eternal; self-willed and murmuring against the commandments saying that “they are impossible to keep, so God will not judge you for failing to do so” thus encouraging brethren to continue in sin.

17
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Such men, though they call themselves Evangelists, Apostles, Prophets, or Leaders by whatever title, are just son’s of wickedness slipped in by Satan to lead astray the faithless and TEST God’s people. They are sensual [carnal and not subject to God] playing power politics and seeking personal advantage, authority, wealth and power. They mock the zealous and condemn the faithful; for such are considered a threat to themselves, for obeying Almighty God and not such wicked men.

20
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

21
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

We are to be absolutely faithful to the espoused Husband to whom we were called; filled with the faith that empowers overcoming. We are to have compassion on others by teaching the truth of God and rejoicing with those that repent.

We are to loath sin to the point that we would despise even a cloth that appeared to have a connection to any sin or spiritual uncleanness. We are to work to save our brethren; warning them of the perils of the times; delivering them out the the coming trial by fire; through zealous warning and exhortation to faithfulness to our God.

24
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

It is the power of God’s spirit which strengthens us and keeps us from falling; that spirit is given to those who are faithfully obedient to ALL the commandments of God.

Let no man deceive you, neither God nor Christ will tolerate any sin. The Soul that sinneth, it SHALL die. Ezek 18:20.

1 Cor 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God [commit sin], him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
