THE LAW OF GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE Sin, Salvation
and the Law of God. Thousands
of years ago Satan told Eve in the garden: Gen 3:4: And the serpent
said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes
shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. He
was telling the woman: if you decide for yourself what is right or wrong, you shall be like God; who is now the decider for
you. You shall exalt yourself and become equal with God. You can become a God through your own efforts.
This same lie has been repeated continually, ever since. Most religions say
trust and believe God. They then go on to say that we are God’s spokesmen and you MUST OBEY US. They
then proceed to substitute their own ideas, traditions and philosophies for the word of God.
Where in the Bible does it say that Sunday should be observed? Where does God say that;
YOU SHALL NOT DIE? It does say: Ezek 18: 20: The soul that sinneth,
it shall die. And, Rom 6: 23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Yes,
the gift of God is eternal life. And the way to eternal life is revealed by the commandments of God.
His law shows us every way that leads to life and reveals the ways that lead to death. The ultimate consequence of
breaking these laws and principles is death. Sin brings death by its very nature. This
being the case, the avoidance of sin, leads to eternal life. God's Law shows the way to life eternal.
What is sin? 1 John 3: 4: Whosoever
committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Therefore since
sin results in death and keeping the Law of God results in eternal life. The law of God is Holy and Good.
Rom 7: 12: Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
God’s commandments are GOOD. James 1:
25: But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a
doer of the work [of the law], this man shall be blessed in his deed [blessed with
the gift of God; eternal life].
All those who keep God’s
commandments shall have a place in eternity. Rev 22: 14: Blessed are they that do his
commandments that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Those who ultimately refuse to keep God’s commandments shall be thrown into the
fire and destroyed. Rev 20: 13: And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death
and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works
[whether they keep God’s law, the way to life] . 14: And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15:
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

THE LAW & THE COVENANTS
The Mosaic Covenant was a marriage covenant, IS 54:5: For thy Maker is thine
husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
He shall become the husband [God] of all the earth. The people said, Ex 19: 8: And all the people answered together, and said, All that
the LORD hath spoken we will do. And what did the Eternal say? He said Ex 19: 5: Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be
a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: OBEY MY VOICE!
The marriage covenant was that God would
love and care for his people; and the people would OBEY; all that he says. ALL OF IT: EVERYTHING THAT HE
SAYS. That is the Mosaic Covenant.
God then proceeds to provide a list of laws and statutes. That is the basic law. In
addition, the law of the Sacrificial System was given. These two basic Law Systems were not a part of the
covenant. The covenant was to OBEY GOD. These laws were just the things that God wanted
done. The covenant of obedience includes, but IS NOT LIMITED TO, these laws.
For example: God told the people to go in and inherit the land and they refused Numbers 14. That was a sin against the covenant because they would not obey God.
The covenant is a marriage agreement to do ALL THAT THE HUSBAND [God] SAYS.
This means keeping ALL the laws and Commandments and it means going further and doing whatever else God might want
done.
Israel broke the covenant by rebelling and disobeying;
time after time; refusing to be a faithful wife unto their God. Finally their God [Jesus Christ] was made
flesh and dwelt among them. He was killed, dying to atone for the sins of men; should they be repented
of. That ended the Mosaic Covenant. It is for this reason that Israel is called a WIDOW
by Almighty God, Is 54:4: Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded;
for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy
widowhood any more.
Here God
promises to FORGIVE Israel and bring them into a New Covenant as it is written in Jer 31:
31: Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house
of Judah: 32: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand
to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto
them, saith the LORD:
There shall
be a NEW COVENANT Jer 31: 33: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the
house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;
and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34: And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and
every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them,
saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
In this New Covenant; sin may be repented of; a true atonement by a sacrifice made by the husband
of Israel, who was the very Creator God can be found; thus enabling entrance into the very Throne Room of the Father himself.
Reconciling man with God. The Father will then provide his spirit; and through that spirit, write the laws
and commandments, which reveal the very will of God, on the hearts and in the minds of all repentant people; empowering them
to KEEP ALL OF HIS LAWS AND COMMANDMENTS AND EMPOWERING ALL REPENTANT MEN TO DO THE WILL OF ALMIGHTY GOD.
As Israel was the Covenant People, any faithful keeper of the covenant is an Israelite
indeed. If not in the racial sense; then most certainly in the spiritual sense. For it is written
that any stranger may be grafted into Israel by repentance and by accepting the covenant Ex 12:48:
And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the Passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and
then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat
thereof.
Circumcision
of the flesh is the sign Mosaic Covenant; which has now ended; and circumcision of the heart is the sign of the New Covenant.
Deu 10: 16: Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and
be no more stiff necked.
Therefore this
New Covenant promised to Israel; is a covenant between a Spiritual Israel, empowered to KEEP ALL the COMMANDMENTS
OF GOD and God himself. Israel shall be a widow no more. She may yet enter
into a New and better Covenant.
One which truly atones for sin, reconciles to God; and actually
empowers men to OBEY THEIR GOD.
The Mosaic Covenant was an agreement
to obey God, which the people broke and could not do.
The
New Covenant is an agreement to obey God, which men will be empowered to do; through the true atonement for past sin repented
of; and the indwelling of the spirit, the very nature of God.

The Vital Law of Sacrifice: Despised and Obscured by Satan There
are few things in the Bible more neglected or misunderstood than the Sacrificial System. Why? Satan hates the Sacrificial
System; he does everything possible to cause men to do likewise. He seeks to conceal the glory of this
system by getting men to think that it has been “done away” and is not worthy of notice or study.
He wants men to think that it is bloody hateful and repugnant; and that the God of Israel was a hateful and bloody
God. In doing this he conceals the fact that the God of Israel was a God of Love.
PURPOSE In the very ancient past Satan rebelled against God and one third of the angels followed him, Rev
12: 3: And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns,
and seven crowns upon his heads. 4: And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to
the earth: During this rebellion, a great fight
took place. Satan was trying to rise up and exalt himself over God; he did not want to be cast down! Is 14: 12: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down
to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13: For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15: Yet thou shalt be brought
down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Satan was cast
down once before; and he shall be cast down yet again before the great tribulation, Rev 12: 9:
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was
cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10: And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven: Now
is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren
is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. See the remainder of Rev 12.
We can see the evidence of this fight in the condition of the moon and planets.
And since he was cast down to the earth; the earth must have been reduced to a similar condition: which would have
required the Genesis recreating.
GOD DOES NOT WANT ANOTHER
SUCH CONFLICT. Therefore, God has made men of flesh, so that they could learn the wages and consequences of sin;
without destroying the universe! And so that men, made of flesh would not have the power of angels or spirits;
the power to destroy. Man and his destructive abilities have been limited to the earth, until man learns
the ways to peace.
God’s law reveals the way to peace,
harmony and prosperity. Breaking the principles revealed by that law; leads to decay, destruction, violence
and death. Man MUST learn that lesson. He MUST learn through the bitter crucible of experience the TRUTH
of what God is trying to teach us.
To teach us these things: God have given
us the way to peace; his law. He is now allowing us to experience the other side, so that in future we
can make an intelligent, informed; decision concerning our future behaviour. The Sacrificial System is the third part of the
lesson.
The purpose of the sacrificial System is to demonstrate;
over and over again, that sin brings death. That to avoid death; WE MUST STOP SINNING: WE MUST FOLLOW THE PRINCIPLES
THAT LEAD TO LIFE [GOD’S LAW]. God does not have to kill you for breaking his law.
The very act of doing what leads to death will do that. God’s law, leads to life; breaking
that law results in death. We MUST LEARN THAT LESSON.
Almighty God could have just said; your sins are forgiven. Yet he required
the death of his very; only begotten SON, to atone for our sins: WHY? To impress on us
the vital importance of the fact that: SIN CAUSES DEATH.
We need to learn that God’s law defines the way to LIFE and that breaking
those principles leads to DEATH. God gave his SON to teach us that lesson; and God gave
us the Sacrificial System: which is the legal framework for salvation. The Law of Sacrifice allows the
death of Christ to atone for the sins of men! It teaches us that sin brings death; and in also provides
an escape from past sins repented of.
The LAW OF SACRIFICE: IS THE
LAW THAT ACCOMPLISHES SALVATION FOR HUMANITY. No wonder Satan hates it so much.
Is the Sacrificial System done away? If that
is true, there is no more sacrifice for sin! This system IS NOT DONE AWAY!
Every single aspect of this system is a direct allegory to an aspect of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
When we repent and ask that the sacrifice of Christ be applied to us and that our sins be atoned
for, we are offering: a sin offering, a trespass offering, a burnt offering, a peace offering, a drink offering, a meal offering,
and a freewill offering.
We are fulfilling all the requirements
of the sacrificial System; through Jesus Christ, Rev 13: 8: And all that dwell upon the earth
shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Jesus Christ is, 1 Cor 5: 7: Purge out therefore
the old leaven [of sin], that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened [free from sin]. For even Christ our Passover
is sacrificed for us:
Today we observe the Sacrificial System: by repentance and going before the Father with the ultimate Sacrifice; that all
other sacrifices were merely a shadow of. The ultimate Sacrifice that truly atones for sin:
the sacrifice of the Creator God.
We have a Special reminder of this annually at the Passover. But,
it is true that Christ fulfills the role of our sacrifice: Every Time, we repent of sin and ask for the application of his
sacrifice. Being perfect, he needed to die only once: His Sacrifice needs to be applied as often as we repent.
This does NOT justify habitual sin. To repent means: To STOP SINNING, however we may occasionally slip in our learning process,
and all humanity does not repent at once, therefore the Law of sacrifice needs to be in place throughout history to be available
for ALL humanity!
The Law of Sacrifice was given to us: as a reminder of the death that sin brings: as a legal foundation
for the Sacrifice of Christ: and as a demonstration of the various steps to salvation: and the various aspects of the ministry
and actions of Jesus Christ in service to God and man: and finally as an example that we should follow Christ in his service
to God and man, by doing the will of God as expressed by his LAW.
The Sacrificial System is: a Law of Love; given by a God of Love. To
allow sin to be atoned for and forgiven, and to teach mankind lessons that will bring peace, harmony and prosperity for eternity!
