What he fails to recall is that the old Radio Church of God clearly taught that Catholic prophecies were something that true Christians should have knowledge of.

On pages 9-12 of the April 1961 issue of the Good News was an article by David Jon Hill titled Christ or Antichrist?. The old Good News magazine article specifically quotes and explains some of the very same Catholic prophecies and mystics that are in my book 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect.  Since I believe that James Malm used to have a WCG/COG background, he appears ignorant of the fact that I am simply continuing a practice that Paul first began that the old Radio Church of God continued.  Furthermore, by relating prophecies to world events (which I have done with 2012 and reports from scientists) the late Herbert W. Armstrong personally tried to reach broad segments of society which I am also trying to do.

My RESPONSE

First; Paul did not begin the practice of studying the ways of the heathen and applying them to the word of God, nor did he do any such thing. This is a deliberate falsehood. in a pathetic attempt to justify sin.  Second; to do so is foolishness; for spiritual things are spiritually discerned.  Those who do not keep all of God's commandments CANNOT possibly understand the things of God.  So why study lies?  Third;  Bob will not tell you this, but HWA made literally dozens of prophecies that failed "in the name of the Lord", Deu 18. Often thundering that "I tell you in the name of Almighty God that Christ WILL come to stop Hitler", or many similar things. If HWA made so many failed prophecies (literally dozens of failed prophecies; by relying on Catholic prophecy ,instead of God's Word).  Why should we follow other men's mistakes?  We should learn from their mistakes and avoid falling into the same trap.


Through the ages, the faithfull have been tried and tested many times. As each generation passes and a new generation rises up; it becomes necessary for the new persons to learn God's ways and to be tried and tested regarding their faith. 

At this time we are arriving at the end of; the age of man without God; and are preparing for the establishment of the Kingdom of God at the coming of his Christ. For the most part the Called Out have become Laodicean in attitude and outlook.  ALL of the major organized Coporate Groups have adopted the attitude that: I am rich and increased with klnowledge, no one can tell me anything.  They have all become self righteous.

The true pillars are scattered throughout these Groups and standing independantly.  A pillar must have the ability to stand alone and the strength to help hold up other parts of the structure.  A true pillar always stands on a solid foundation. The foundation of the Philadelphian pillar is: The Word of God.  They put God and his Word; FIRST. At all times and no matter what anyone else says or thinks. 

The Laodicean puts the traditions of his Group first. He stands on what his Group has traditionally taught and does not stand solidly on the Word of God.  He thiniks that his Group has a corner on all knowledge and cannot believe that his own group could contain any error.  When he is confronted with a possible error he quotes his leader or even terns to the traditions of the pagan religions for his support.  He may take some scripture, but will not accept it when other scriptures are put together with his; demonstrating him to be wrong.

The traditional view that the 70 Weeks Prophecy {held by Robert and many COG Groups} means that the false prophet will establish a peace treaty with the Jews (Israel) allowing for a beginning of animal sacrifices and 3 1/2 years of peace is embraced with fanatic faith.  This in spite of the fact that such a belief is decades old and that the prophicies were sealed until the very end; and also in spite of the fact that the scriptures tell us that when Peace and Safety is declared; SUDDEN destruction will come; SUDDENLY, IMEDIATELY, AT THAT TIME; NOT 3 1/2 YEARS LATER!!! 1 Thess 5.

Much has been sealed until this end time. Much has also not been understood because people have not been grounded in SOUND DOCTRINE.  The Sacrificial System has not been understood because it has not been studied.  The Daily Sacrifice is not understood because the sacrificial system is not understood.  The 70th Week is not understood because the Daily sacrifice is not understood.  And so these things snowball.

Very soon, God is going to TEST his Called Out.  He is going to sift out his pillars from his Laodiceans.  He is going to take his pillars to a place prepared of God, Rev 12:13: And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14: And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

How are these people to be separated? How are the pillars to be taken and the Laodicean left?  The GREAT TEST will be very simple; it will be a test as to whether people will cling to their traditions or whether they will believe the Word of God.  Will they stand on their traditions?  Will they stand on what they were told by someone writing decades ago?  Or: will they study the Word of God, to become approved by God?  Will they be willing to admit that they do not know all things? Will they receive the truth with gladness? 

When the time comes and God's two prophets reveal that it is time to go; when the scriptural signs are there; (list of signs) and the warning is given.  The big test will be: Will they stand on God's Word or on their traditions; like the Pharisees who were destroyed in 70 AD?

True safety lies in standing upon the Word of God; not on our traditions or the teachings of some beloved leader.  Yes: There is a place of physical safety!!!  To get there: We MUST put God and His Word FIRST: before and above our traditions and pet beliefs. We MUST be willing to accept proven truth with gladness; instead of emotionally rejecting it because it does not fit in with our beloved traditions.  Ultimately: What do we love: God's Word or our tradition? Who do we love: God or some man? THAT WILL BE THE TEST

Brethren: this is NOT some game; this is FOR REAL.  God wants to know who he can trust with the leading offices in his kingdom.  He needs to KNOW who he can trust and rely upon.  This test is NOT about physical safety alone; it is about qualifying for eternal rewards. The deception of relying on our traditions is VERY STRONG.  The only way to overcome is to ALWAYS PUT GOD FIRST; IN ALL THINGS. 

I began this warning in 2007. I have never said that any year would be THE YEAR. I thought that things were looking close in 08 and 09. But I always said: IF, MAYBE, POSSIBLY, THIS IS THE SOONEST POSSIBLE TIME.  I have NEVER published that some date was the REAL TRUE DEFINITE DATE.  Whenever the true date comes: All the Biblical signs WILL be there.  At that time the GREAT TEST will take place.  Study, learn, prove  what is true; and make yourself ready.  Do not make this coming decision in ignorance, get informed.  Whatever you decide, do it with a clear conscience that you have proved the matter out. BELIEVE GOD'S WORD and NOT THE TEACHINGS OF COMMANDMENT REJECTING MEN!!!
